After School Challenge Program

Throughout the school year The After School Challenge Program provides youth at 7 school sites with activities and experiences that promote optimal growth and development. An estimated 750 students will receive a nutritious snack, homework assistance, tutoring and other school-related assistance in a program that is designed to be an extension of the educational school day. Fees for the program are based on household income, household size and the number of children participating in the program.  

 

Fees for the After School Challenge are based on your household’s income level and household size. Each family will need to bring documentation to verify their family’s income to determine at which Level they will be charged. Acceptable documents for income verification are:

· 2015 Income Tax Return (must be a complete return) -or-

· Affidavit stating your income -or-

· Food Stamps -or-

· Medicaid -or-

· CHIP -or-

· S.S.I -or-

· Disability

If proof of income is not provided, the Level will automatically be calculated at the full program fee.
